Wire Up Reverse Lights?

As most of you know i swapped a b16 into my 89 civic and i did the auto to manual conversion as well...now my question is how do i wire up my reverse lights? i can see 2 wires coming from the tranny (these are my reverse lights i'm guessing) do i just extend these wires all the way to my reverse lights or is there a better/easier way that this could be done...any suggestions would help...thanks

do you really need them? i didn't wire mine up, well maybe i should... i think all that you do is run the wires from the tranny to the green wires in the old shift selector (that plastic slide thing that you put into park and gooped up).
