Wireless internet

Sup y'all


Ive been itchin to checkup on hondaswap but dont dare do it from the office as everything is scanned .

I recently had the brilliant idea to bring home my laptop that the office gave me which has that intel centrino stuff.

I found a wireless network that i can access from my appartment. Its not that bad (free y0). My only concern is safety. I just downloaded the free version of Zone Alarm from Zone labs. I dont wanna have all my password info and stuff leeched off my computer.

Anything else i should do to try and be safe on the 'free' web??

just keep your firewall on. thats enough to deter 3/4 of the population.

hell i download avg free...thats what i use...

avg is a great virus and trojan tool but it won't keep anyone off your system. Just check your shares, and make sure there's nothing important in them.

Also disable your guest account and rename the admin user name.
