I got a 760 watt Sony xplod, and also a 1200 watt amp wiring kit. Iwas wonderig if the ground and the 12v wires would be way to big to use "4 Gauge", and if I should buy smaller wires, and smaller fuse "Fuse currently on 12v is 80 Amps" for the 12v wire? I was wondering if this could send to much power to the AMP, and cause damage. Any sugg.?

    Thanks

Do you think I should replace the fuse on the 12v wire to a smaller one "like 40"?

I run 50s on my two Alpine M300 300 watt amps, downstream from a 100amp circuit breaker by the battery.
