Wiring P28 ECU to CRX check engine light?

I have an 88 crx with a D16Y8 in it...wired to a P28 ECU. The bad part is my car isn't runnin right and i can't read any codes. Anyone how and where to wire the check engine light to my P28?
 
there should be a little connector plug underneath your hood were you need to put in a jumper wire and then it will read on your dash CEL
