Wiring Up Vtec

my vtec is not kicking in. i have been doing some research online, and using a msd rpm activated switch. i am also using the standard automotive relay that they ask for (with the 86, 30, 87 and 85 plugs). for some reason the vtec is not being engaged. can someone who has already did this swap successfully tell me what wires go where? thanks, matt

you can just wire the selanoid to a switch and iy will work. all you need to do is hit it with a hot wire, meaning positive. i personally had probloms with the msd switch and could not get it to work right.
