ive came to a dead end fellas im putting a CD player in my 89 hatch and ive ran into a few wires that dont match up here is what i have left comming out of the car's wirring harness:

    red with green stripe
    red with yellow stripe
    copper with black stripe
    copper with white stripe
    white with blue stripe
    yellow with red stripe
    blue with yellow/green stripe

and here is what i have left comming from the CD player's wirring harness:

    white
    white with black stripe
    purple
    purple with black stripe
    green
    green with black stripe

    and then i have:

    yellow-amp wire
    orange- amp wire

i need to know which ones match up to which and which ones from the car are the rear speaker wires so i can cancel them out (i dont have rear speakers)

    1) Go through each speaker and take them out.

    2) Check to see which wires are conneced to the speaker

(I.E. i f the front-left has a copper with black stripe, and a red with black stripe... hook it u to the front left output channels on your deck, white and white black, i think. ???)

But yeah... just check the speakers too see which color wires are hooked up to each, and do your install. It helps to right down which wires are hooked up to which speaker so you dont get confused. then use your notes.. and install.

    Good luck!
