Would it work?

    I heard about a motor once and I'm just wondering would it work,It's a 2000 honda civic SI-R top with a 2000 GS-R bottom he said it would be pushing like 250 horse's. Would it work?

    I have never heard it called a "Phantom" but I have heard it called a poor man's Type R. It works but I doubt that he is gettting 250 hp out of it.

    Yah, i heard it being called a poor mans type-r also... 250, i really doubt that. it that was the case, i think more people would be doing that???

    No, I don't think it makes that much. the Mr.gasket crate motor, "the beast" only makes around 220-250 allmotor. And that's got some of the best parts you can buy. although I do like the poor man's type-r idea. I'm building one for boost in an 88 Si
