And the trip is when they have their golden week...which iswhere....everyone is off from work for a week...exactly the same time as last year...

But the wife is not in the mood to do any wheels this time....

we're definately going to the cape for at least a week. We're also thinking of San Francisco or Key West. Two totally different options, but relaxation is key.

We are taking at least two weeks off from work

concidering the Jet A fuel that will be burned to travel 32,000 miles.....thats a damn good price. I remember paying $2500 for the same trip over 9 years ago..

lets just say...it's a 24 hour trip from door to door...loose a day to get there, and gain a day coming back....

the ride sucks...but getting there is worth it...

and 400 bucks? damn that is pretty friggin nice. i remember looking for around summer and it was at least 1000 for round trip. anyway, hope you eat lots of sushi, see lots of JDMness and take pictures. seeing them will make me sad because i cant afford to go for at least another 5 years, but it will hurt so good.

Maybe next year I'll go. Buy a cargo container, and stuff it with as much JDM goodness as possible.

Then actually get it in the US 4 months later.
