wrong distributor?

    hey guys i have a 00 civic si with a jdm b16a engine i believe the engine is obd1 converted to obd2 with obd2 injectors and distributor now my question i know my timing belt is put on right and is not off a tooth, but my problem is when i put my car on a timing lite i have to fully retard the distributor to get it close to the timing marks what do you guys think my problem is need help asap any suggestions i would really apreciate it.

    well my question would be how goods the dizzy, also are u sure its the right 1? and is the firing order corect?

    I bought a brand new distributor from ebay and i have the same problem, if someone could shed some light into this, it would be appreciated.

    true that i still can figure out my problem of why i have to fully retard the distributor to get it close to the timming mark but still not perfectly on it.
