Seriously? What do you think you're going to find if you're only willing to spend two grand? I really doubt you're going to find anything with a swap, more like stock 88-95 Civics with high mileage or maybe a newer Civic or Integra with body damage or a bad motor...

with the price of gas going up the older civics are harder to find and prolly cost a lil more.

Good point! So essentially he's probably not going to find anything Honda for under two grand that's not a rust bucket or that doesn't have significant issues of some kind...

Just save up the money and get something nicer. You'll kick yourself in the end if you spend 2k and get a shitty rust bucket that requires a ton of work.
