I need an engine for a 98 civic
It has a frankenstien d16y6/7 that a rod punched a hole in

Dont really care if its a y6 or y7, as long as it will bolt up to the transmission, just need it on the road again

Cool. It's just good information to put into your WTB post. I have a few blocks, but nothing ready to bolt up and run.

My friend has a D16Y7 that I helped him remove from his 97 Civic. If I remember correctly it had about 124,000 miles and was used as a DD until he decided on a K20 swap. The motor is complete with all electronics hooked up, and all accessories. I'll ask him how much he wants for it if you're interested. I'm in Colorado, so shipping shouldn't be too bad.
