I am looking to buy a Sohc Vtec engine.
I have an 88 Civic sedan that burns oil like nothing.
For the time it would take me to do rings, it would be easier and cheaper to
just drop in a new motor.
I'd like to buy the engine and trans in one shot, but that is not a necessity.
Pm me or post, Please!
Thanks
Chris

if it was me i'd flick a match in the gas tank.
that is a fugly car. but if you HAVE to swap go with a zc. it's really easy. i did it in my 90 hatch

But isn't it really hard to find aftermarket parts for the ZC?
I think I read this on here somewhere...
I know the D series Trannys work on ZC's, but will all D-series parts?
And yes I know the car is fugly, thats why I like it.
My girlfriend said she won't ride in it though...
Good thing I have another car! (97 Dodge Stratus)
:shrug2: I read up on my B-series stuff, but they are too damn expensive. I didn't read too much about D-series tech.
I'm a student.(Read:Broke...) I want to do a swap in it because I like the car.
Paid $200 for it. I like it because I did all the repair work to it myself.
I had intended to fix the blown head gasket, and CV axles and resell it.
But now it's gutted and awaiting a better motor.
So if anyone has an extra lying around, hit me up.
Oh yeah.
Bump

Oh and please don't label me like you label all of the other... :fr:

if your a student like myself and are pressed for money go with the zc and most if not all d series part are interchangable :)

or you can buy my my 88 civic hb zc :D

Come on!
