I am looking for a complete LS longblock. This is for a friend and he is on a bugget, so clearly he will not be able to afford a high end motor.

I might sell mine.. Not sure..
91 LS, fresh valve job, shaved, light port and polish, Polished combustion chambers and deshrouded valves.. Compression is 195 190 195 190.. Pulls good and strong. I could let the motor and trans go for something like 1200. In texas. The motor is currently in my CRX. I'm thinking of parting it out or selling it. I need a better family car. (something with a back seat would be nice)

yeah this is a little higher then my freind is willing to spend. Thanks for the offer. NEED TO CLEAR UP ONE THING..........PREFER OBD1 94-95 ........BUT WILL TAKE NEWER OBD2. thanks

94-01 teggies = DC chassis = 94-95 = OBD 1 / 96+ = OBD 2

B18A1 vs. b18b1 not much difference..little higher (minimal) cam profile = + maybe 6-8 HP

B! would be the much better choice - less miles. look for a 94-95 B1

ok thanks for the info guys.......i was thinking that i was right about the a being obd0. So the hunt goes on............
