so the wwe is making this battle with the ufc a little better. they always talked about mayweather fighting, well, he's going to wrestle. you never really understand how fast boxers are until you see it in a different perspective. mayweather accidentally breaks the nose of "the big show". watch it to the end, he's pretty messed up. apparently mayweather is going to get $20 million for a wwe ppv.

YouTube - Floyd Mayweather Breaks Big Show's Nose at WWE.

FOX Sports on MSN - Boxing - Mayweather to appear in next WrestleMania

Doesn't this finally prove how old you shouldn't be to watch all of this crap?

no, read the article from foxsports.com. Ever since dancing with the stars, 70 year old women know who floyd mayweather is. if you want to beat the UFC in ratings, you need to get someone that everybody knows and everybody wants to see do something outrageous. what do you think will draw more money? the 100,000 people who know brock lesnar or the 10,000,000 who know floyd mayweather. sounds like good business to me.

It sounds to me like WWE has lost its' main audience: 13 year-olds and men who act/think like 13 year-olds. Congrats UFC.

And what 70 year-old granny that loves Dancing with the Stars is going to watch WWE?

you are missing the point. it's not that they want to watch WWE, it's the fact they will watch, "that cute little dancing guy". And i'm not saying that 70 year old women will watch it,i'm saying that they know who he is. He is more widely known throughout entertainment.

Its still fake ass shit that appeals to punk kids in their "pre-teens".

EDIT: I know who mayweather is, and I could give two shits about weather or not he is even on TV. I have no respect for people who sell out like he as.

I lost a lot of respect for Ken Shamrock because he did the same thing. At least he returned to the MMA world and is still in it (ifl coach).

nobody goes to wwe because it's real. they go because it's entertaining. nobody goes to And1 streetball because it's real, they go because it's entertaining. you need to separate what is real, and what brings in money. there is a HUGE difference.

All this proves to me is that Mayweather is scared of the UFC.

no, it proves that he wants money. come on people.

    ufc=$500,000 fight
    wwe=$20,000,000 fight

no matter how many times he has been hit in the head, it still makes sense to play with the wwe.

don't tell me that you wouldn't "sell out" for $20,000,000. there is a lot of shit i would do that is more degrading than going to wwe for that much money.

    Yep.

It also shows that he is not a true competitor. He doesn't want to take his game to the next lvl.

    Fuck him.

BWAHAHAHA!!!!! The ufc is not the next level. getting paid is the next level.

thats like saying papadakis got out of drag racing and started drifting to go to the next level. no, he went where the money is. it makes sense to go to mayweather because he can make $20 million and still box. if he goes to UFC he'll make $1,000,000 at most and will have to give up boxing. lets get real here.

If you read my post, you can see that is OBVIOUSLY not what I meant.

A true competitor would choose a challenge over money. Mayweather is a sellout.

i know what you meant. but you can't realistically expect someone to pass up $20,000,000 just to show they are a good fighter.

it's not "selling out". it's being smart. it's the same with everything.

how many stupid movies have vin diesel or the rock done???
a lot, because they get paid a shitload.

how many rappers go pop and make shitty music??
a lot, because it's about money.

tell me that you would rather "keep it real" than fill your bank account? tell me honestly. would you rather have pride and drive a civic or sell out and drive a ferrari? tell, me. lets be honest here.

You are entitled to your own opinion.

You have this one the wrong way around. Its impossible to own a civic and NOT be a sellout.

Its impossible to become a sellout by purchasing something that is made in extremely limited quantities and costs a shitload to purchase.

no, i'm referring to the method of acquisition.

would you rather work your regular job and drive within your budget, or would you sell out and drive your dream car? isn't about the car, it's what you are willing to do to get the money.

i'm a money whore. i'll do whatever it takes to get money. whether it's selling out, giving in, whatever you want to call it. i would still be driving a ferrari instead of a shitty honda. pride has no value. i value what i earn.

he didn't break his nose, WWE already said his nose wasn't actually broken

congrats on being had, it's called a blood capsule, wrestler's are masters of using them, I wouldn't be surprised if he just blew the liquid out his nose once it disvoled

and Show is 7'4" and 400+lbs, reasonably in shape, he'd kill mayweather in a street fight, it would be a joke

Mayweather might be the best lb for lb boxer in the world but this looks like B about to fight a preschooler, it might as well be this

Mayweather won't even fight Sean Sherk and Dana offered him 2 million personally in addition to what he would make from his UFC contract
