Looking for an upper middle class headset for the xbox.
I was thinking wireless would be nice, but open to opinions.

    Astro? Turtle Beach?

So do you pull sound out of the xbox RCA's or you have outputs on the tv?

I ended up getting the turble beack earforce tango as a bday gift
overall a pretty badass headset but probably a good bit of overkill
its dolby surround sound, wireless headset with digital input directly off the xbox or your tv if you have a digital output, and it also comes with a bluetooth connection for the controller so the chat is also wireless

i like it because it charges off of USB and comes with a long cord so i never have to worry about batteries or it dying on my, i also have the xbox controller cord and rechargeable battery (i hate non rechargeable batteries)
not sure if i am going to stick with it or trade down to a wired set or potentially the x32's
the surround sound is a nice feature for game play but is it really necessary? lol

I like it a lot. I think it helps, especially in a game like CoD. You can actually pinpoint where noises are coming from. It's saved my ass a few times for sure...
