Y1 differential compatibility question?

I have a Y1 cable trans non lsd and my diff is bad. I need to know if the diffs are the same from a hydro trans. What is the correct replacement being a JDM trans?

most all of the diff's are the same per tranny besides that they have different final drive ratio's...so if you take a diff out of one d series trany it will go in any other and the same for b series and so on and so forth
