    I'm doing a swap.
    A b16a1 into a 5 gen. civic.
Is it possible to put a Y21 transmission on a b16a1 normally this has an Y1 .
The reason why is that the 5 gen. is hydraulic but the Y1 is mechanic and the Y21 is not.

you are making a HUGE mistake putting a b16a1 into a 5 g civic. but if you must, you could put that y21 on the WRONG engine and then put the whole thing into your car.
