does the auto IM differ from the 5 speed, if not does this look good, also is there any info I would need in order to do this swap, I have a z6
 
just stick with your stock IM. you could switch to a y8 head gasket to give you a little more power, and get an adjustable cam gear, but i on't think you will see any gains from switching to a y8 manifold, besides its a big hassle.

find a b16 or b18 throttle body, just make sure its obd1.
 
The Y8 manifold does flow better than the Z6 unit. Just look at the size of the plenum- it's like putting a Type-R intake manifold onto your B series engine.

If you want a replacement manifold, Skunk2 has one on the market now.
