Yes. There is enough oil, everything's wired right from factory, no check engine light, and when I disconnected the vtec wires and took off the solenoid and the whole piece to check it it was clean as a whistle, CEL came on when disconnected and turned back off when I put it back on.
HOWEVER, when I gun it and it hits that 5500 vtec point, the whole vtec range I hear a whistling sound when driving it hard so my only guess is the solenoid itself needs to be replaced.
