at my disposal. trivial little things. when i pulled the g5 out of the box (mind you shipped directly from apple) and plugged it into the network, it required more updates than most antiquated microsoft products. wow. fucking 4 hours of updates downloaded on a T1.
and on top of that, its dual-processored, and slow. the powerbook kicked its ass in the update race, not to mention it opens applications much faster.
so far, i think the G5 was a huge waste of money. freehand and quarkxpress are now available on ms boxes... why bother spending $2k more on this junk? i hope the design team appreciates the $4k stainless steel paperweight.
