no it's a car without real body panels. Aren't all bikes chain driven?
 
i dont see how it wouldnt be legal. there are plenty of dune buggies around here that are registered to drive on the street.

many bikes are belt driven, but you're right most are chain driven. my roommate is an engineering major, and i showed him that video, so for his senior project in 2007 he wants to build something "similar". obviously we'll be on much more of a budget, but i can weld, so he'll design a frame and chassis, i'll weld it up, but we plan on going with something alot cheaper. first off i plan on having done a b18c5 swap in my ek by then, and we'll just use my d16, if by that time i still haven't done it, we'll buy a b16. wish us luck... 2 years from now.
 
I have similar aspirations my friend....the only reason I'm studying Engineering - To have fun building shit!!
