Not going to lie, some of those in the second video look pretty sweet.
Apparently Yugos came complete with heated rear windows to keep your hands warm when the car needed a push - just one of many jokes inspired by its questionable quality.

The US presence of Yugo was due to the idea of Malcolm Bricklin - Someone who's name came up here recently. He imported them to the US. After the split of Yugoslavia and the Bosnian conflict, production had pretty much halted like Vespas in WWII. The assembly line would roll whenever the lights were on, and people were ok to come to work on them.
Bricklin's next project is China's Chery lineup. Another completely horrendous series of rolling caskets to infect the US roadways.
Also, in Michael Moore's old TV show "TV Nation" he had Slobodon Milosevik under the hood of his Yugo trying to fix it - because Michael didn't know what the split of the country would mean for Yugo repairs.
