Swapper for life!
I had a shop that tuned my honda for me say that I can take the rotating assembly out of the Z6 and put it in my D15B7 block to up the compression to 11:1. From there i'd probably put a Vtec head on. any idea if this works guys? let me know, I have a friend selling his Z6 and I don't know if i want it yet.

Nope.

The D15 and D16 cranks have different main journal sizes, so you can't swap cranks.

The D16Z6 pistons have a lower compression height and dome size (it's actually a dish) than the D15, so swapping pistons won't raise compression- they'll drop it.

The D16 rods in the D15 block would just make the pistons crash into your head.

If your friend is selling his D16Z6, just buy that and drop it straight into your car.

well, here's what i'm doing, i'm going to do the mini me for now, then once i scrounge up all the parts, i'm going to build a bullet proof bottom end for turbo, then bolt that sucker up there and slap a turbo with 12-15 lbs of boost on there. sound like an idea?
