Depends on the application. If you are trying to autocross, get an aluminum lightened flywheel and a street/strip clutch. This will keep the flywheel cool, and allow for harder higher revs. If you want it strictly for drag racing, you dont want a lighter flywheel, cause youll loose low end torque for that hard launch; so Id get a real stiff clutch but stick with a stock OEM flywheel. If its just a daily driver then you want a sprung disc probably no more than 300ft/lb pressure plate (if that) and probably still an OEM flywheel. But do yourself a huge favor; dont resurface the flywheel you have now, just go and spend the few extra bucks and get a new one. Youll be glad you did.
