I hear alot of people take some lbs off their flywheel. I want to know if it would help my zc really get up and go. Cuz my motor don't really get up and GOOO to it hits 4,000RPM. I want to know how much my flywheel is (in-lbs), and what would be the nexts best one to get for my car.

Thx and put down what you think???

yea, lightening the flywheel will most certainly help your acceleration. i heard someone suggest lightening the factory flywheel to 16lbs but i dont know if that weight would apply to your specific flywheel. its alot cheaper than buying an aftermarket flywheel, and wont hurt your gas mileage.

also...moving to general tech :moved:

I'm planning on doing this myself when I contact clutchmasters about my new clutch. I figure why add power if I'm not gonna use all the power I already have (or as much as possible). My brother just did a clutch install, he said motor mounts and tranny detached from the motor and it will go in just fine.
