ZC in EF or EG

I was just wondering which car would be better for the ZC 88-91 Civic DOHC Long Block swap. I know the engine came from the JDM 88-91 Civic but I've heard that the 92-95 civic already have the vtec wire harness setup so it would be less wiring to do.

the dohc zc is non vtec and the obd1 is the only one that will fit in the 92-95 easily
