I have a JDM ZC and I bought the L3 with the limited slip differential and I was told that I need to buy the clutch for an '88 CRX Si and it should fit. Well, I got a Neuspeed N2 clutch for the '88 CRX and, guess what, it doesn't fit. So is the L3 with the LSD have a different shaft size compared with the CRX or is that just the wrong clutch.

The 88 is the oddball year- the output shaft spline count is different. If the 88 parts don't work, chances are that you need to get 89-91 parts.
 
Do you still have the CRX Si trannsmission? I just swapped that engine in my car and I ordered an ACT clutch last night for the 88 Si tranny. I hope it will work.
