ZC tranny shot! hELp ME!!!!!

hey guys this is my first time in the system so please give me a straight answer and treat me good, thanks! My doch zc tranny went down on me and i am wondering if i can used a D16Y7 tranny from an lx ek on it? please help me anybody my email is yaj_jauni77@hotmail.com asap let me know my option, thanks!!!!

Yes you can. The D series transmissions are all interchangeable. Just make sure you have the right disc/pressure plate combination if you're currently running an 88-91 setup, and make sure you make the proper conversion from cable to hydraulic clutch if you need to do so.
