ZC vs D16Y8

I have an 88 CRX Si with a ZC in it. I have a chance to get a D16Y8 for next to nothing. My ZC is still in good shape, but I was wondering is there would be any advantage to swapping a D16Y8? Thanks for any help

i'd keep the zc.

dohc > sohc, vtec or not.

pick up the y8 for next to nothing, and part it out on ebay. you'll make 1k easy parting it out peice by piece.
