NOW $4250!

alright... time has come to sell the sentra. i just want to put up front that i'm not selling because of ANY problems with the sentra, i just bought it for the winter and it's time to sell it to get something with rwd.

here is the run down on the car. it is black, paint is great except for a couple scuffs on the front bumper from the previous owner's parents motorcycles, also the clear coat is coming off of the wing, there is no problem with clear coat on ANY other part of this car, ONLY the wing. the tires are nearly brand new, fantastic tires made in japan for a company called visa, by falken. i've driven this thing in rain and snow alike, they perform great. they are a very sticky tire for dry weather as well . the wheels are stock, painted black, they could use some black touch up paint in a few very small places. the car itself has 115,XXX miles on it and runs like a champ, never had a mechanical problem 1 with it, aside from the alternator which has been replaced. the car has always had it's oil changed with mobil 1 full synthetic and has just recently had an oil change. i used the mobil 1 full synthetic with the high end puroilator filter. as far as modifications go, the only thing done to the car is 2 inch crush bent exhaust with a very good looking muffler (muffler looks like a stock design only with a larger tip, fits perfectly in the bumper). sounds VERY nice, has a low quiet tone, not high pitched or raspy at all. the previous owner also made a short ram intake for the car, a cheap way to go about it yet effective. not the prettiest thing in the world, but it gets the job done quite well, sounds damn good also. one other small yet noteable thing done to the car is advanced timing, timing is 15 degrees stock, now advanced to 19, makes the car more responsive and squeeze just a little bit more power out of it, result though is that you have to run premium gasoline to prevent detonation. with this stuff done it ran a 15.6 @ 86mph. the car's suspension is very tight, a great handling car, especially for front wheel drive. it has kyb gr2 shocks and h&r race springs giving it a 2 inch drop. the car is very responsive and isn't so low that it bottoms out... matter of fact it's never bottomed out on any bumps or sneaky potholes with me driving.

i think i pretty much covered everything about the car, it has power windows and locks, cruise control, 5 speed. it's the SE which is the highest trim of the sentra sold in it's year, comparable to the previous SE-R, only difference between the two is badging, lower insurance rates and an LSD. it has the sr20de motor just like the se-r, has the appearance package with the lower rear bumper with the exhaust exit, very nice side skirts and the front lip with fog lights. the headlight bulbs are brand new sylvania silverstars, makes a nice white light pattern at night. just bought brand new bosch winsheild wiper blades (not sure of the part# but they were the nicest/most expensive ones i could find lol). i'd like to reassure you also that being as it is a 4 door, it will be quite easy on your insurance as well, it costs me $55 a month for full coverage, not bad if you ask me! the only other blemishes that exist on the car is there was a chip in the winsheild that was filled and is under warranty, it has never caused me a single problem. and there are two small cigarette burn marks in the headliner. the interior is quite nice, no rips or tears in anything, no cracks in any plastic pieces, pretty much perfect!

for whoever buys the car i will have it cleaned inside and out professionally for the purchase. my asking price is 4,250 OBO, i will be considering all reasonable offers because i have already located the car i'm going to purchase and need to sell this in order to buy it. i can be reached on AIM at Black JDM ded, on yahoo as blackjdmdeath or you can call me personally at 316-409-7817. my name is Zac and you will be able to get ahold of me most easily by either calling my cell phone or messaging me on aim or yahoo.

if anybody has any questions, don't be afraid to ask! but i do ask that if somebody has negative comments that they keep it out of my thread, you wouldn't want somebody bad mouthing something you're trying to sell, so why do it to someone else? if you have something you have to say, i would be more than happy to talk to you about it on aim or something along those lines.

thanks in advance!
Zac

thanks mercury i'll do that!

here is a post made by the previous owner of the car in my for sale thread on kcsr.org, just thought i would share with everybody. he even clears up some mistakes i made!

Quote:
The shocks aren't adjustable. The GR2's are a slightly stiffer than OEM strut. The car does handle pretty good considering it's not really supposed to.

I can vouch for him when I say that the interior is about as perfect as you can get one, and the exterior is really darn good as well. The lady that owned it before me (I was the owner of this car before Zac) smoked on occasion, which is why there are the cigarette burns. When I owned it I MADE SURE I got the smokers smell out of the car. Whether or not that smell is back now I have no clue.

There are 2 scuffs in the front bumpers from my dad pulling out my moms motorcycle from the garage one day. I wasn't there, and had my keys with me, so he had to try to squeeze around. He hit the passenger side front with one of the exhaust pipes on my moms bike. It's not noticable until it gets pointed out, because it's on the bottom side of the bumper and that car is so freakin' low that you'd have to get on your knees to see it.

The exhaust system isn't 2", but 2.25" crush bent. It DID gain power on the car, I guarantee it. The intake was an intake that was indeed made in a garage, and it gained power as well. 3" piping on it, with no harsh bends. With the intake, exhaust, and timing on the car, I'd say it sits at around 148-150hp or so. Stock this car had 140hp. As far as the timing goes, you do have to run premium or the car will detonate. You can bump the timing back down to 17 degrees (which is still 2 degrees over stock) and run 86/87 octane with absolutely no problem. It takes about 5 minutes to do, and all you need is a timing gun and a wrench.

The car did, indeed, run a 15.6 at 86mph. I was the one that ran it. I ran the car will everything still in it (jack, spare, seats, etc.) and the car had almost a full tank of gas when I pulled that off, too. With that being said, it might have a tenth or two left in it. I pulled off a 2.2 60 foot on that run.

Zac bought the car from me. Before I owned it, the car was a one owner. The lady lived in Lee's Summit, and drove it on the highway every day. There is a rock chip in the window that was pretty deep, so she had it filled up. Window has/had a lifetime warranty with her, not sure if it does now. Regardless, it never gave me any problems.

This is a damn good car, guys. For this price, you won't find a better running car around. A lot of guys saw this car in action when I owned it, and I'd imagine quite a few saw it in action with Zac here. The engine is a VERY strong motor (Nissan's SR20DE), and won't give you any problems. It's about the best engine to throw a turbocharger in later, as the engine was built FROM THE START with turbocharging in mind. The internals will handle 400hp before they start giving you problems, and you don't need to touch anything on the inside if you were to throw a turbo on it today. Even with the mileage it will handle it without no complaints. I guarantee it.

Anyways, I just through I'd throw a few words in here for a really good car. Hope it goes to a good owner.
also i'd like to add that the car does not smell like smoke at all, i'm sure ANYBODY that has ridden in this car will tell you to their surprise it actually smelled good, rather than like cigarettes

ok... well i was going to trade this guy for his car and he asked me to take pictures. i told him the car was dirty because it had been raining so often here and he told me to take them anyway. the car is dirty, but here's a lot more pictures of her.

i have all of the original sentra floormats too, they were just dirty so i took them out to show that the carpet had no stains except for 1 in the back drivers side floor board. keep in mind that it's dirty right now, it will get washed, waxed, vaccumed and all that good stuff.
