I've never totally understood the concept of offset and how it relates to suspension and brakes underneath.

So here's the deal.

5Zigen makes a wheel, the FN01R-C. It is not listed but they come in 8" and 9" wide versions.
I would be going with 8" as I have read that the 9" will not fit under the 240 properly.

The standard size for the s14 and z32 is 17" +25 Offset 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern.
The next size up is 17" +35 Offset 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern.

The rotors on the z32 are 280x26mm and the suspension I'm looking at, the Tein Type HE Dampers say at the bottom of the page that you need a front wheel offset less than +38.

Should I be fine with the +25 offset or will +35 be needed?
And... thinking logically... the +35 is 1cm less deep (towards the street side) correct? So there is 1cm more space behind the wheel.

the 25 is better.

oh, and HE's suck. look into something else.

on an s13, 9.5's will fit in the back. 8.5s will fill in the front.
