Default Rear brake pad change screw piston tool

Hi everyone, i was wondering if i should bother making or buying some type of tool to screw the piston back in. I have a six inch c clamp hehe but that didnt really work too good , then i looked on here and found out that i need that screw tool. So should i just rig something up to apply presure to the piston then turn or is the tool actually really cheap?

when i did them on my old hatch i used the combination of a thin steel file and a very large tipped standard screwdriver. took a little while but worked like a charm!

Buy aftermarket 2 piston fixed calipers. No piston screw back in issues. It's an expensive solution though.

I just use a pair of cheap needle nose pliers. works well, and quick.

Yep or I put a screwdriver sideways in that slot and twist like that.

If you already tried a c-clamp, you may have already fucked up the caliper.

If you go to autozone they have a tool loan program. You put down a deposit that you get back when the tool is returned.
