unfortuenately i have rear drums and i've noticed that on some later models in the 4th gen have rear discs. would it be a straight swap? what all would i need to get, if i can find an accord at the salvage yard with rear discs?

I'd say it should be close to the same stuff you need for the Civics. Honda keeps everything pretty much the same. Get the whole trailing arm with everything attached and the e-brake cables.

The 90-93 SE model accords have all wheel disc brakes, it is almost a direct swap, so if you can find one of these in the salvage yard, you should be better than trying a 94-98 model. Pay attention to your emergency brake cables though cause 4-doors have longer ones than the 2-doors. Itll probably cost like 2-3 bills from a junkyard for everything. Me and my friend, 90accordH22 just finished this swap on his accord, and it worked just peachy.
