Default slicks?

Ok, so I am going to be taking my car to the strip once I get my turbo back from being rebuild and was thinking of getting some slicks for run when I start going to the track more. I didn't know what a good size slick would be to run without the rubbing. Another question I had is where can I find slicks to fit on 14's and also where can i find some good 15 drag wheels and slicks?

mickey thompson makes 14" slicks , as for sizing as close to stock as possible . your in indiana try tire rack , they don't keep them in stock but they can order them , Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels be aware some tracks require extended lugs with slick , also if your axels are not upgraded slicks are a good way to break them

Check all your stuff and make sure your NHRA legal for slicks. It would suck to spend all that money on some nice tires, then find out you cant run em cuz you havent met all the safety requirements.

Hoosier DOT Drag Radials P225/50R15 might have fitment issues ,Nitto NT555R Drag/street Tire (205/55R14 85V),Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial P205/50R15 ,Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial P225/50R15 might have fitment issues, Nitto 555r 205/55R14 , again keep as close to stock dia. as possible . all will give better traction the normal street tires , other options are roadrace and auto cross tires , but they are not the best thing to drag race on .

drag radials...any kind really, but check tire compounds and remember,,the harder the tire, the less the grip but the longer lasting
and the softer the tire, the more grip, and short lasting

^ Climate is a factor too. If your in a cold area its gunna be difficult to warm up a hard tire, and keep it at temp.

These guys have all given great advice....but remember one thing, the harder the launch and the more traction ya get, the more things are going to break.
