This will seem like a ricer question but that alright because it's for my g/f car. She has a 93 SI hatch. She wants to get rid of the ugly wheel gap but does not want to be springs or any set-up right now. Remeber, She 's a girl and perforamnce really isn't a first to her. She just wants to look good. I have a second set of springs for that car. How much should i cut off to give it a lower stance without killing strut travel. Anybody have instructions. I dont know how to cut springs and im actuallly think its dumb but it's what she wants.

holy christ if go buy some neuspeed springs on ebay they are like $100 and will be MUCH better than a ghetto cut job. Cutting springs isn't rice its ghetto

there are plenty of inexpensive good quality springs out there
dont do some gay ass shit like cut the fucking springs
spend a little money and do it right

oh man. don't cut the springs. Just buy some halfway decent ones for like 100 bucks.

and not to mention if you cut them wrong and they destroy your suspension mounts.
