ok i got this ef from a friend of mine, he had some ebay coilovers on them with just the springs no aluminum sleeve to adjust the height with. so it was very low. i came up on a real good deal for some brand new in the box never opened arospeed lowering springs that drop it 2.5 in front and 2.25 in the back. well i just put them on and i put the springs up front that says front on them and the ones that say back in the back. whats weird to me is the front is now lower than it was with just the ebay coilover coils, and the ebay coils was just like 5 inches tall.and the back looks to be higher than a stock ef. this is on my 1991 hatch. whats up with this.

Weird for the front and it sounds like the rear just needs to settle.
yea i was shocked lol, the new spring look like a giant compared to the ones i took off, and i bounced up and down on the rear for a little bit lol

do you think they messed up labeling/stamped it from the factory.should the springs that say front really go in the rear

idk about your '91, but my '00 it's aparent which is which. do yours look the same or something? my rear ones have a larger diameter than the front ones. not to mention standing them up amongst the stock springs, you can see proportionally which goes where.

it had just the coils from ebay coilovers on it before. i put the front to the front and the rear to the rear and i had to turn them upside down for the to fit right on the shock to where when you look at it it rears front upside down, then when i let the car down there it was lower than before in the front and all jacked up in the rear.

it kinda sounds like you didn't get the right parts to me, but i don't know shit about it. :shrug2:
yea ive thought that also the only thing that has me wondering is that it was in a factory sealed box plastic and all, and with all the labels saying what its for. and there the right info.

i mean it could just be me but if it is the car now has on hell of a front rake lol

just a dumb question... but coilovers without the sleeve are just springs, no? lets just call them "ebay springs" instead of "ebay coilovers" from now on :p

can you take a picture of the front suspension with the vehicle on the ground for us? it might help diagnosis.

but there is a different in the coilover springs by them selfs, there like 5 inches tall tops. there was shorter than any lowering spring you will find.

here is some crappy night time pic but they zoom up good.

if i had to throw a guess out it seems as if the F/R are in the wrong spots :shrug2:
yea im hoping i got them mixed up and done that by mistake, or its gona make me wonder with the rear springs saying front on them

update. i just went out there and looked and see if i had the ones that said front on them mixed up, i did not. but i went ahead and swapped then around anyways so now the springs that say front on them are in the back, and the rear in the front. now with that done it looks to be just right, so it looks like they stamped the springs wrong from the company, or least hope thats what it is , because its look about right now. thanks to all that helped + rep to those. if you dont get rep its telling me i have to spread it around more.:)
