Has any one had a problem with this flashing off and on, on your cluster?

If you have and you fixed it... how did you do it >_<

The first thing I do with any electrical problem is pull the neg battery cable. See if that resets what ever, then take it from there.

my work pc won't show the pic.
i'm assuming you mean it blinks showing that a door is open, not the gas door.
had a 4th gen accord w/ this prob but not flashing light, just constantly on, kept my dome light on, drained my batt. if you open the door and look at the actual car and not the door, about in the middle, prob black diamond piece a couple inches big (for front doors) that the door latches onto when shut. try tightening the bolts or you may have to tape it so the car always thinks the door is closed. prob driver door, but could be others.
if you have dome lights set to on when doors are open and the car is off is your dome light coming on? or is it only affecting the gauge cluster?
only flashing when car is on?
aftermarket alarm?

Its not a constant flashing, I think the switch might be bad, dome light doesnt work either, but it kinda jiggles on and off while going down the road, and its not saying just one door or the other. its showing everything at once. like... im rolling down the road and nothing is shut. It drove me insane while going down the road... but being the engine is screwed for now. Im not as worried as before, but when i get the chance to test I want to have some knowledge as to what to look for.

you're saying open door light jiggles on and off? or dome light?
i'd fix ur dome light then see if it comes on then you'll know if its the latches or cluster (if all the dome needs is a $2 bulb.)
check all your body door latches to see if they're loose. any body damage- doors/trunk?
haven't been in an accord in years, the light is just for open doors in general, not individual doors, right? or is it also for open trunk?

It tells you what body part is open, if its the passenger, driver, or trunk. and while im going down the road, it shows everything is open.. just like in the pic, some times it doesnt do it and sometimes it does. Might have something to do with a mysterious short i have in the wiring. there was a short that kept blowing the battery fuse, but i could never find it. So I jumped the fuse and waiting for something to either melt and smoke up so I can find it, or fix it self... o.o

its mr. mcgee.........like it was said earlier check the sensors or check if there is a short, chiltons repair manual has a great schematic for that stuff....or check the actual plastic thingy that goes in and out when the door opens and shuts....also check your brake lights, they throw them rear light on

I clicked on this thread just so I could comment on how awesome the name of it is >.<

Maybe he's sad cause your almost out of gas lol. What kind of car is this light on? i've never seen it before

was finally able to see the pic at home...thats messed up.
i would guess a short. that symbol reminds me of when you have turned the key but not turned the car on. no other lights come on w/ it?
or maybe cluster issue.
i'm assuming you have a coupe, otherwise its another degree of weirdness.

Fail.
I'm with green on this one. Even if you didnt look at the forum, under my name in the "my rides" section, I have for you 2 cars. Either the 94 civic, or 91 Accord... and I've never seen door display like that in a Civic...

Yeah its a coupe, and to my knowledge no other lights come on. theres a short somewhere, but then again, theres a short through the whole power distribution of the car. So, if I find that short I might solve the problem.
