Anyone know if there is a way to disable the rev limiter in my 92 teg without a chip or EMS the computer is a PR4

I would look into postibly the ecu. I kno on some civics and Eclipses I have done, if you cut out the Gov Limiter in the ecu. It is a Resister on the brain. Just something to look in to! Btw I dont think ya have a rev limiter, U mite have a fuel cut off, not postive tho

Is your engine relatively stock? If so, then removing the rev limiter would be fucking stupid. The rev limiter is there for a reason. First off, your car isn't going to continue to make power the higher you rev it. The power production will drop off at a certain point so it's pointless to rev that high unless you've built the engine to perform differently. Second, unless you've upgraded the valve train then you're likely to damage your engine by over-revving it, so once again, there's absolutely no point to this...

but but but his friend revs to 15k on his bike and he has to 1 up him...
but like brutal said if you dont have anything done to it the rev limitor is there because your not going to make anymore power after it... actually your not going to make power before it even kicks in

Just tell the ecu you don't need a rev limiter

JE high compression pistons eagle rods performance rod and main bearings skunk 2 cams titanium valve springs and too much other shit to name so ow if everyone is done pissing around and telling me what not to do ill take some actual advice now it s still pulling hard as hell at 7200 rpm's i know it will make more power after that

And you're running this on a stock PR4?
