ok i got an 88-91 crx lined possibly. when i get it im wanting to do a b16a swap with the LSD tranny. i plan on turboing it after a while. im planning on running a t4 turbo with 10-15psi. im gonna get an AFC, 550cc injectors, high flow fuel rail, 255 fuel pump, arp studs, 38mm wastegate, stage 4 clutch, intercooler, bov, 3in downpipe, some cams, header, and a flywheel. my question is what kinda cams should i run? where can i find some? and what kinda head gasket would be the best?? i seen on a forum about a head gasket that will lower the compression to 9:1. can i run 10-15psi on stock internals or no?? any help would be nice. thanks

You are going to turbo it, but you are going to get a header?

PSI is irrelevant. It doesn't matter how much boost you run. It's all in the tune. Set a power goal and go from there.

Looks to me like you just found a list of parts and said, "I wanna do that too. I'm gunna use all the same parts they did."

Do some research. There are tons of different options. And if you are going to go boost, an LS is more boost friendly for less money.

a turbo header... and i have done some research and found most the parts. i just need to know what type of cams would be the best and a head gasket. i know the factory one will not hold up to it. and my horse goal is close to 300.

and an afc to tune?? get a chipped ecu and have that tuned,
as for cams,it rlly depends, some skunk2's sound like the path you sould take

yeah one of my buddies has that done to his vr4 and he's pushin 700 horse. but i have an instructor at my college that will tune and dyno any vehicle for 500 and 50 per hour after. but for students its 350 and 50 per hour. would that be better?

ya go ahead and do that:)

yea,but you will ned to replace it with a new one

no OEM (Original Manufactuer Equipment) This type of part would come from the dealer. You are in a automotive college and you dont know what OEM stands for break out the books you need to start studying

Do you want us to walk you to the dealership and point to the right one, too?

Use the search bar. And don't say you have. It is very, very evident that you didn't even think to use it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be asking questions like you are.

i know what oem stands for. the closest honda dealership here is a couple hundred miles away

ok. just get one from an auto part store?

No, for the third time, OEM FUCKING HONDA! IN OTHER WORDS, GET IT FROM THE DEALER!

As for cams, if you're going turbo, then get turbo cams. All the major manufacturers make them (Skunk2, Comp, Edelbrock, Crower, etc.). And I'm not sure I'd trust stock internals for a 300 horse D-series. If you're going to try for that much, then you'd better get a damn good tune...

ok i know what oem is!! the closest honda dealership is about 200 miles away from my house!! and its a B series not a D series!!!
