when i listen music and my car is not egnited battery goes down like in 15 minutes even if it like on 10 volume. what could be the problem
bad battery or bad system wiring or components ( i tryed to change my CD reciever still the same)

Your battery is probably on its last legs. Is it old? May need replacement. Most auto parts shops will test it for you for free.

This is assuming you don't have aftermarket amps and speakers and all that stuff..

ofc i got amplifier and sub etc but on my previous car i could listen on like 3/4 volume for like an hour i turned my car for 10 min and could listen for another hour
the battery seems to be new but i'l check it
so the wiring can't affect it right? couse its rly lame and ugly out there

probably a weak battery....

also the power of your stereo has something to do with it. my xterra has a pretty powerful system in it and the juice only last 30 mins tops, even at pretty low volume.

Its about that time.... :D

optimas suck they are the porest excuse for a battery there is

lol you must have got a bad one. all mine where 3 times better than any other battery i have had.

how about maby 6 of them in cars that ive goten and they all went bad with in a year and werent any more than 3-4 years old

Batteries aren't supposed to last 4 years. Some do.

Buy the yellow "everstart maxx" batteries from wal-mart. Incredible batteries, great price, never had one eat shit on me. Although I generally don't own my vehicles for more than 3-4 years. I think I've had my teggy for 5+ years now. When I buy a car, I always replace the battery. Cheap insurance.

check the cord and look for any smoke leaks.

sounds like a battery man, i wouldnt be concerened with the wiring, id be more concerned with your wiring if your battery goes dead everytime you let your car sit, but still battery is the most likely cause. and im sure your alternator is fine, if your battery dies after music for that long, your car isnt gonna run of just your battery for more than a minute. good luck.

go get a new one fool!

just to be safe check the alternator. make sure its charging the battery like its supposed to.

I had an optima yellow top. i could listen to radio for at least 5 hours with my 1000/1 down and would start right up when i needed it to. I got it because the red top still let my lights dim when the bass was cranked up. I dont know about bad luck with them. I know if you dont keep them charged like they should they will eventually go bad.....like with any battery.

just got new one. way way better :)
just to check turened everything on even cellphone charger and music on full. after an hour started with no problem.
