I bought my first car recently, a 94 Del Sol. I'm finding all this stuff I want to do to it, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't. It's just an S model with 170k miles already... when reselling I know people trust Honda to last for high miles, but after I'm done will the miles be too much ya...

As to Del Sols being chick cars... About 4 friends and I (all guys) wanted to buy one... I saw a deal on mine and just decided to buy it last week. I've gotten so many comments on that thing from guys... and so many looks from hot girls... and it's below freezing here, can't wait to get the top off

I've heard about the CoPart auction.. I'm trying to find a way to get into that. (an auto dealer or other qualified person to get in under). I go to a public auto auction where the cars which are anything less than perfect people don't touch. Clean titles and everything... very minor damage...

Has anyone here bought a salvage car and worked on it up until you got it in perfect condition? If so, what was the car, what did you pay, and how much money did you save off of what you would have spent by fixing it up? This seems like a cool and slightly profitable hobby
