I am going to be putting a b16 head on a gsr block and have a few questions. I need to use a gsr timing belt because the gsr is physically taller, right? As for head gasket I have read that the b16 and b18c's are the same, not sure though?? And, lastly will the stock gsr ecu (P72, I believe)...

Finally got to work on the car. Took the cap off and had my brother crank the engine and the rotor just sat there. No movement. OK, so the timing belt snapped. What next?

A little off topic but what do you guys think of a gsr trans with a lower ratio final drive for highway/top end pulls. I saw something from sage racing a while back. I think it was 4.0x. I don't remember the last digit. Just curios.

Thanks for the reply, in my post I said I replaced the ignitor. Ignitor to me is the ignition control module/ICM. Anyways I replaced that too.

What is the stock timing of an obd1 b18c?

Thanks for the info...I have some spare parts still laying around from my d15/d16's and wasn't sure if the ignitor would work in the b18c and I was kinda nervous about just trying to plug it in. On another note, I didn't know you could bypass the igniter/ICM with an aftermarket ignition...

I have an obd1 b18c with a bad ignitor. Do any other obd1 ignitors (integra LS or 1.5/1.6 honda) work, or is it specific for the b18c? Thanks...

This is probably a stupid question but does anyone know how to remove the film and haze from the outside of a headlight lense? I read about nail polish remover with acetone but it did nothing. If anything it made it worse. I have heard about plastic polishes but can't find them anywhere...
