take one of those vaccum pumps and put alittle bit of water in the hose and pump it up through the nozzle manually. Just a idea to see if its just cloged.

you only need to remove the upper and tie rod end. THen lift up and pull the axle back or tap it out. If you happend by any chance unscrew the tie rod nut on the tie rod even just slightly you can have a crooked steering wheel and so on. It wont take much to knock your car out of wack.

the the lower the one right? thats all you have to remove. Pull back and slide it out or tap it out. You shouldnt even have to look at the upper ball joint. It slides up and then just hold it with a hanger or zip ties.
