i am swapping out the original engine in my 88 dx to a b16 and i need to know exactly how to convert from DPFI to MPFI. ANY HELP IS APPRICIATED!!!

one zexy crx how did you do the swap did you buy the hasport mounts or did you use the regular mounts what mods did you do to the crx to get the b16 running smoothly like shift linkage wiring for vtec mount problems if any

im going to be swapping a b16 into an 88 dx here is what i gathered so far some people say you need the hasport mounts so it doesn't hit the hood but some say you can use the regular mounts and cut part of the frame out of the hood and it will fit or you can't use the regular mounts at all, so...

I'm pretty sure that any B-series Motor will drop right in to your car man.

i think it could be the idle air valve letting too much air in or the fuel regulator letting too much fuel in

regular harness stays hooked up to ecu then sub harness connects around the shock tower if this is correct my only question is how do you convert to mpfi??

so take the harness i have on the car at this moment conver it to mpfi then have hasport make a "subharness" (wich is a harness that coverts my harness to hook up to the ECU?)?? am i on the right track now?

so your saying if i put the ECU on the left my cabin plugs will hook but the harness won't because it won't reach because its made to go to the right not the left but if i put the Ecu on the right side only the wiring harness will hook up and not the cabin plugs? please tell me if im getting...

as you may know i am new to this and confused first what is RHD? second if a jdm harness comes with the jdm ECU why wouldn't it hook up directly what is the harness or ECU not hooking up to please help me understand. explain all in lamins terms if you have to.

i shouldnt have to rewire the harness for the ecu because the wiring harness comes with the engine and its ECU so i should be able to take out the ecu to the us 88 DX and put in the one for the b16 and the wiring harness that came with it should hook right up. also your saing that if i use the...
