    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

Glad to hear you got it running:thumbsup:. I didn't even think about the secondary O2 sensor, becuase in Kpro you can simply disable it. When I first started my setup it threw an O2 code as well (in KManager), but only on initial start up, since then it hasn't come up. Does the O2 code come up...

    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

My transmission grounds (front & back) both ground to the chassis on the driver side frame rail in different spots. My IM ground runs to near where my rad overflow is (passenger side since I moved my rad to the drivers side). The ground off of the back of the head grounds right near where the...

    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

No the ECU itself does not need to be grounded, its grounded through the harness. My ECU was sitting on the floorboard carpet as well when I started it up and drove it around.

    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

I actually used 4 grounds, one on the back of the trans, one on the front of the trans, one on the back of the head & one on the IM. Make sure the ground from the engine harness (near injectors) makes good contact with the engine. Tech - K-Series Engine Ground I used a thread chaser bolt to...

    k swap confusion

Yup, Kpro is the way to go:thumbsup: The only way around it I've seen is made by K-tuned Immobilizer / Multiplexor Bypass

I had a similar issue with the fuel pressure gauge on my HR fuel rail. I contacted Hybrid Racing and they suggested Permatex - 56521 Hi-performance thread sealant. Permatex says its ok for fuel fittings...

    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

I read that to, that the EVAP purge hits the hood, however I'm running the Evap purge as well and I havent had any issues with it hitting my hood. I did move my hood latch up a bit when I was trying to clear the vacuum hose. Maybe it also depends on which TB you use.

    CAFROG's K20-R EGg

Nice job man:thumbsup:Glad to see another K-swapped EG here. The K20A is a sweet motor and its nice you dont need Kpro right away to get it up and running, definitely down the road look into Kpro. Just a note since I see you are using the RBC manifold, you will have to cut a little bit of the...

    Eg hatch k20 help

K20a2 (02-04 RSX Type S) is a good place to start, PRB ECU w/ Kpro for sure. You should do some research into all the different K-series motors b/c there are many combinations that work well. The swap fits fine, I had to remove a little bit of webbing from the u/s of my hood, mounts --->...

    2002 EM swap

you wont get 300whp from a stock 2.0L K-series engine block, but with bolt-ons I/H/E and Kpro tuned you could get anywhere from 210-230whp range, depending on which 2.0L engine you go with, diff bolt-ons, exhaust size, Kpro tune etc. as for the the k20/k24 build I'm not sure, depends on your...

swap info needed.. K24a into 92-95 Civic

Which K24 are you planning on using? Honda tuning did a good write up a while back on how to do a K24 swap on a budget. you can also check out this thread where I discussed my setup https://hondaswap.com/hybrid-eg-ek-dc/08-civic-si-k20-different-than-k20a2-513614/

    08 Civic Si K20 different than a K20A2??

shit man, I was going through my old receipts and I was wrong about the starter. The Z3 starter DID come with my swap, it just wasn't on the engine itself and was shipped loose. Sorry about the confusion, this was 2yrs ago for me, but after finding my receipt I realised I was wrong. My swap did...

    08 Civic Si K20 different than a K20A2??

The oil pressure sensor from the A2 harness didn't really fit the Z3 sensor, so for that I soldered the Z3 plug onto the A2 harness. I'm pretty sure I did the same for the knock sensor. You can also use an A2 knock sensor. All other engine sensors plugged in ok. The sensors on the TB all...

    08 Civic Si K20 different than a K20A2??

Ya my fuel system wasn't cheap. You will still have to buy a FPR. Honda Tuning did a K24 budget swap a while back and showed how you can save $$ on a K-series fuel setup --> Manual Transmission Parts - Honda tuning Magazine I used my stock EG radiator, but I relocated it to the driverside...
