    My LS-VTEC CRX

Haha yeah, first few times I drove it I was wondering how my gas was disappearing so fast :P BTW, that's about 10-70mph. Will try to get a better one from a dead stop to about 80ish when I have a chance.

    My LS-VTEC CRX

Thanks! YouTube - LS-VTEC CRX Warning: loud, crappy radio recorded from phone, may hurt ears :P Fun little ride. I considered a B20 but didn't want to pay to have it sleeved. If I blow this engine, that's what I'll do.

Timing issue - help solve and get $10

Mine has the top middle hole, but no bung to it. I assume you had that running to the charcoal canister thing? I'm going to block it off as I have no use for it. Wheels are 16x7 but I'll probably be upgrading to 15x7 with a taller sidewall in the future. I don't care for the tucked crap...

Interesting. What's the point of the hole next to the idle adjustment screw? I don't see why they'd have an unfiltered source of air, and figured it was for a vacuum line.

    My LS-VTEC CRX

GlassHeadlights - Thanks! SlushboxTeggy - If it wasn't my only vehicle I probably would have, or at least put it off for a while. Used to have 3 Hondas at once, but this is my only transportation so had to get it running. Especially after how much money I've dumped into it :( 92stoccord -...

Timing issue - help solve and get $10

Nah, CRX has the MAP mounted on the firewall from the factory, USDM/JDM doesn't matter. The TB I have is missing the bung on the throttle body so the vacuum line wasn't going to anything. Just extended the wires to use the TB MAP and runs well :)

Water in the Oil in JDM Engine

Are you planning to rebuild it? Shops usually don't charge much for cleaning the block/head. I'd check the bearings at a minimum and make sure it wasn't running with that much water in it. Most likely, it was just rained on, but I would still check. If the bearings were worn, I'd go...

I don't care about aesthetics :P Lowering it and a clean trans won't make it faster. Turbo is next.

    My LS-VTEC CRX

Hey guys, I'm just going to copy/paste this from another forum but thought you may be interested. I haven't done any aesthetic mods and probably never will (other than the wheels). Only interested in making it fast. I previously had a 1991 black CRX Si with a Z6 block and Y8 head. I paid...

Timing issue - help solve and get $10

Nawp, problem was I was using the firewall-mounted MAP sensor instead of the one on the TB, and none of the vacuum lines were going to it. ODDLY, I was able to drive the car and it idled just fine set up like this last time. Maybe because it was colder? No damn clue. Anyway, I got it...

So my swap was almost finished until... FML

Junkyard ftw. I would think any B-series shift rod would work.

    A couple connection questions

Well, if you have the GSR cluster then I would keep the electronic VSS, and unfortunately I've never used one to tell you how to wire it up. I just used a cable one with my stock CRX cluster.

    Manual trans fluid

Honda MTF. It has been reformulated and is "friction modified."

Timing issue - help solve and get $10

Yeah, I'm not big on paying shops my hard-earned money. Usually can figure it out on my own. I'll play around with this another week or two and if I can't figure it out or find an answer, then I guess I'll take it somewhere. Hate having a freshly-built LS-VTEC CRX and not being able to drive...
