Have a 94 ls engine going into an 2000 civic (obd2b) ......i have a cel code 4 for ckp sensor, and the car just runs in limp mode. So it has a obd2a dizzy and i changed the wiring from the 8 pin obd2b connector to the 9 pin obd2a connector. The tach works fine but i cant get the cel 4 to go away...

Aftermarket front crossmember would help with a lot of things .......and if it didnt say CIVIC on the front windshield i would have never guessed what it really was .....overall cool progress though

Its all mechanical so it has to be something and judging from what u previously posted if everything looks good what does that leave u with ....transmission

You can find the y8 swaps for cheap idk what your price range is but i see them going for cheap all the time

Ok so ive been on a mission to upgrade/fix/cleanup everything in my coupe before i put my engine build in. So i was looking on another forum and seen them talking about grounding kit. They were saying it improves idle and also engine response, so my question is does anyone have one of these...

+1 i also have had a viper for 2 years self installed with proximity sensor and additional kill switch (neighborhood is really horrible with car thefts)... an alarm or any other type of theft device is simply a detterent anything can be stolen if someone wants it bad enough and a properly...

I think the roof looks to be made of plywood which has to great advantages one its light weight and 2 if your in an accident it is so easy to fix ....just have to watch out for carpenter bees and termites

As far as the half shaft goes if it will fit into the transmission then it should work no problem but to be honest with you ive always seen them sold either for auto or manual im guessing it has to do with the spline count on the shaft.....so if u have the pieces just mock it up and see if they...

I would check make sure ignition timing is correct, also make sure your spark plug wires are in the correct order, ive wired them wrong before and it runs like shit an wouldnt go above 1200 rpm. Also check your tps voltage and make sure it is functioning properly and sending the correct signal...

Why dont u get the correct proportioning valve instead of the master cylinder .....that is what ur supposed to do to get the right pressure to the front and rear

Its not just as easy as doing the rings it is a process of disassembling the motor and replacing parts as you go....not to mention you might want to hone the block if the rings went

Are you talking about all the gears, if so did the bitch pin fall out of the shift linkage .... If not and its only fourth then I would possibly lean towards 4 gear being blown had my fifth gear blow on mine and when i would try to put it in nothing would happen and it wouldnt stay in gear...

Ive always just put the tube in filled to when it just starts to drip back out put the bolt back on and your good....it isnt hard to do.

I have a 2000 ex with a stock y8.... i purchased a Bosch oem replacememt cap and rotor because my old one has some corosion on it. So i take out the old one cap and rotor and replace it, put the plug wires on in the exact same order they came off try to start the car, it runs for a few seconds...
