well the injectors are working now but still no fire have been trying to adjust fuel pressure and timing, sometimes it wants to fire but won't not sure what i'm missing.

I can't see how it would hurt anything you would only be moving it a couple inches, it would still be on the far end of the rail. If everything bolts up it wouldn't hurt to try, you might spill a little gas at most, it couldn't hurt the motor any it will still get fuel no problem. You have...

This swap seems simple at first glance but it is becoming a pita, fast. Now that the car is running I have two cel's one for the secondary o2 (expected) and one for the fuel tank pressure, which the cx hatch doesn't have a ftp switch, lots of fun.

It's the obd-0 ls rail. I don't see why you couldn't change the cap and fpr around as long as it seals it would be no different the whole rail is pressurized the only way out is the fpr I don't think it would matter moving it that far. Then again I'm not Japanese.

I agree it would be much easier to remove/replace tranny while it is out, much easier. Probably easier to remove/replace motor and tranny as a whole anyways.
