I don't need a trans

Auto-x car, every pound matters when you have to keep it "street" legal
and if finding a CX means that I dont' have to strip out at much sound deadening... then that is great
so even if the cx and vx weigh the same, what makes the dx heavier?
it still doesn't have any power options, it does have a rear window wiper and maybe some sound deadening? does that add up to 90lbs
also the VX had 13" alloys and the CX had steel wheels.... does that make the CX lighter...
According to edmunds
CX = 2094
VX/DX = 2179
SI = 2326
I understand why the SI weighs more (sunroof, brakes, etc.)
I don't really understand why there is almost a 100lb weight difference between the CX and the VX/DX.
the only real difference that I can think of is that the CX came with an...
for a 15x6.5 wheel on a civic, you can get away with running a 205/50-15
you will probably have a little big of rubbing on the inside of the fender well depending on the offset of the wheel, but it shouldn't rub anywhere else with only a 1.5" drop (and it will only rub at full steering lock)

why are you putting adjustable ball joints in? do you need more camber?
I'd just leave the stock ball joints unless you are racing and using the adjustable ones to add negative camber.
I've never used the adj. ball joints, but a couple friends have and they never worked quite right/broke...
it's deffinately your alignment.
I just did similar work on my car and I thought I had it 'eyeballed' pretty close and when I was driving it over to "Jeff The Alignment Guy" I just about crapped my pants... as soon as he was done with it, I couldn't believe that I had actually done my work...
It has been raining here for the last week! I can't get anything done at all plus my roomate is moving out and I stupidly told him he could use the garage to stage his move. Hopefully I'll get them in next week... it isn't rocket surgery
yep.
SS lines have enough problems if they aren't swapped out often enough. building your own would be dangerous to you and everyone else on the road in front of you
make sure your e-brake actually works
Got my Pro-c's over the weekend and as soon as it stops raining I'll be puting them in. I'll get some pics and do a write up asap
they look friggin awesome though
I have a GSR front sway bar and an ITR rear 22mm bar and it is great. I auto-x and the car is pretty dang neutral. sometime it will push a little and sometimes I will be wagging my trunk back and forth.
I believe the GSR is a 24mm... what size is the SI bar?
