hey guys, i just got my first crx last week, and have been fixing some issues all week, and now that its running like it should and the suspension is stable, and drives good, im trying to decide if i wanna go all motor or boost it. im on a pretty low budget so im leaning towards boosting it...

try bleeding the coolant system, since u already flushed it, could be some air left in it...there is a bleeder valve next to where the upper radiator hose connects to the motor, and a little valve pointing up. with the car running, loosen the valve just a little, enough for coolant to squirt out...

just try swapping out you vtec, the solenoid and all, its only a few bolts, 10mm i think, holding it to the head... any obd1 vtec should swap right in..if that doesnt work, maybe check your oil pump, pickup may be clogged, i mean it can be alot of things. check your nil line for the vtec and...

how is the car running with code 3? does it run better/worse than before u started? also, when my map went bad, i was thrown into limp mode...so shouldnt urs be?i had a z6, not b16..but it shouldnt make a difference, ,if ur map is bad u shouldnt be able to rev over 3k

main relay..seems like evryones is fucking up all of a sudden, so check it before u spend more $ on un needed things. also, run a compression nd leakdown test to make sure u have comp. u should have somewhere between 160-200 psi in all, and the numbers dont all have to be the same, a few...

id almost bet $100 that ur knock sensor on the back of the block came unplugged, broke off, or is defective. thats more than likely it....

its a obd1 motor and ecu in a obd2 car, thats why u have the jumper harness. id say its the factory si harness in ur car since its done that way...

check your slave cyl

ypu need to use the h22 motor mounts, wiring harness for the engine, ecu, shift linkage and axles, and motor/trans, and i think you need a obd0 to obd2 conversion harness and a cable to hydro conversion for the trans. its alot of work really
